Apr 07, 2025

Napkins are made of a variety of materials, mainly divided into two categories: natural fiber raw materials and synthetic materials, as follows: ‌

1. ‌Natural fiber raw materials‌
‌Wood pulp‌: The most common material, made of wood, made through pulping, cooking and other processes, the paper is delicate, soft and tough, and is often used in the production of high-quality napkins.
‌Bamboo pulp‌: Made of bamboo, it has a high environmental protection index and is made through processes such as cooking and rinsing. It is a popular environmental choice in recent years.
‌Cotton pulp‌: Made of cotton fiber, it has a soft texture and good water absorption, and is mostly used for high-end paper towels.
‌Grass pulp/sugarcane pulp/reed pulp‌: It belongs to the category of virgin pulp paper, with a wide range of raw materials, low cost but good hygiene.
2. ‌Synthetic and mixed materials‌
‌Non-woven fabrics‌: It has the characteristics of moisture-proof, breathable, and flexible. The paper towels made are hygienic, non-toxic and degradable, and are mostly used for wet wipes or special-purpose napkins.
‌Recycled pulp‌: Some wood pulp papers are made of recycled pulp, which is less environmentally friendly.
3. ‌Other ingredients and processing techniques‌
Some napkins may contain ingredients such as bleach (such as chlorine) and alcohol to enhance cleaning or disinfection functions.
